Multi award-winning and BAFTA Cymru-nominated cinematographer with three decades of experience across feature films, documentary and commercials. He has worked extensively in the 9:16 vertical format for major brands including Barclays, Tesco, and House & Garden — giving NXT immediate expertise in visual language across both cinematic and mobile screens. Alex has served as a BAFTA craft mentor on cinematography. He is currently touring with the just released ‘Cielo’, for which he has already won several awards for cinematography. The film also featured recently in critic’s (Mark) ‘Kermode on film’ with BFI.

Nic Cornwall is an award-winning writer and director with extensive experience across film, television, and large-scale event productions. His feature film SOLO! won multiple international awards, including six for Best Film and two for Best Director, and his screenplays have attracted interest from talents such as Sean Connery, Timothy Spall, and Paul Nicholls. He has also written for BBC’s Doctors, directed on Sky TV’s Dream Team, and created behind-the-scenes and viral content for the BBC series Bone Kickers. Known for bringing the best from actors and crafting stories with strong visual and emotional impact, Nic’s work spans commercials, short films, and immersive event projections —including Dubai’s Burj Khalifa New Year celebrations in 2019, 2021 and 2022. His deep grounding in writing and editing gives his direction a clear narrative focus, ensuring every project balances cinematic precision with genuine storytelling.

Accomplished screenwriter with over a dozen, award-winning feature scripts and 25 episodes for BBC1’s Doctors (and nominated for Best Episode at the National Soap Awards). Other TV scripts have been optioned by STV, BBC, Sprout, ITV Studios, etc.  His feature film SOLO! is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.  Jonathan has been a lecturer at the prestigious London College of Communication, a ScreenSkills mentor, and has lectured throughout the UK as well as in Spain and at the University of Miami.

Rob Aitchison is a UK-based creative leaderand technologist whose work bridges business strategy and storytelling. A Member of the IET and Leadership Mentor, he combines senior management and creative experience. Formerly with several US technology firms, he recently designed the UK’s first Blockchain Leadership Programme for Tier 1 construction firms in the wake of the Grenfell disaster. He also contributed to the Government APPG on AI.

A member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain, Rob has optioned feature scripts with Flashpoint Films (Gods and Monsters), written commercial shorts for brands starring Vinnie Jones, and was part of Channel 4’s inaugural group drama-writing initiative led by Ben Stephenson (Bad Robot, BBC/CH4). He recently authored a Guild paper on new payment models for short-form and Vertical drama.
